As a professional wedding photographer I'm so often moved by the glimpses I get into people's lives through their wedding. I'm invited along to one of the most important days of their life and given the privilege of photographing events as they happen before me. Special, never to be repeated moments ~ one chance, then they're gone. There are two things that go through my mind when photographing weddings ~ the first is that you should be enjoying YOUR day, the second is that it's up to me to capture images so that you can re-live and enjoy your day ~ forever!
Every wedding is different and my wedding photography shows that. The common element shared by all the weddings I have photographed is the feeling of love between the couple, their families and friends. I enjoy the challenge and constant pressure when photographing weddings to notice moments and make sure I capture them, moments the bride and groom may well be unaware of until they see my wedding photographs. I enjoy each and every wedding.
A friend looked through my wedding photography and told me what they enjoyed was the feeling of 'life ~ love and laughter'. That sums up my approach to photographing weddings.
Thank you to all the brides and grooms who have shared their wedding with me.
